As a Don, Shannon saw action in 12 games in her first season of collegiate soccer while earning five starts. She finished the year with two shots on goal from the defensive backfield with one coming against Saint Mary's and a second against San Francisco State.<br /><strong><br />High School:</strong><br />Shannon was a four year letterwinner in soccer having played at Modesto Christian for three seasons before transferring to St. Mary's in Stockton, Calif., for her senior season. While at Modesto Christian, Shannon led the Crusaders to three-consecutive CIF Division I championships from 2004-06, compiling an overall record of 52-2 over three seasons. Offensively, Reimer finished her time at Modesto Christian as the program's all-time leading goal scorer having compiled 114 goals in just three years including posting an astounding 51 in 2005 which ranked first in Northern California. A first team all-district selection in each of her first three seasons, Shannon continued the trend at St. Mary's as a senior, earning first team honors while also being named the Division's most valuable player. She was also named the Rams' MVP after leading St. Mary's to a perfect 15-0-0 record in 2007. In addition, Reimer was named a NCSAA National Division 1 All-American Team Finalist after her senior season. Off the field, Reimer received both the US Congressional Athlete Recognition and the CIF Scholar Academic Athlete award.<br /><br /><strong>Club:</strong><br />A member of the California Cougars in the NorCal Premier League, Shannon led the Cougars to the SYL North American Finals tournament in 2006 where she was named to the all-tournament second team. Reimer has also been a member of the U-17 SYL ODP Regional Player Pool.<br /><br /><strong>Personal:</strong><br />Born in Modesto, Calif., she is daughter Michele and Garrett Reimer. Shannon has one older brother, Garrett. She plans to graduate with a degree in sport management.</p>
